About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Manager to join our Amazon Transportation Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and optimization of our end-to-end transportation network, leveraging our in-house network design operational research models.



Key Responsibilities



  • Network Design and Optimization

    • Define tenets and lead the design of end-to-end network optimization, leveraging our in-house network design operational research models.
    • Gather and prioritize business requirements to inform design accuracy and interoperability of network design tools.
    • Lead planning and organization of complex, high-visibility network design projects.

  • Collaboration and Communication

    • Engage collaboratively with several different teams from ATS, GTS, and AMZL as you identify potential network optimizations, test and validate their business case, and lead design.



About the Team


Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you'll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.



Requirements



  • A degree
  • Relevant experience in analysing data and creating reports for leadership
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
  • Relevant experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English


Preferred Qualifications



  • A degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics-related subject or MBA
  • Relevant experience in a supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning role
