We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our Global Procurement Organization at Amazon Europe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving supply chain optimization and reducing costs across our Fulfillment Network globally.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives that align with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce total cost of ownership
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements/contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to drive process efficiency and cost reduction
- Provide analytical support to measure and report on category performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery and proactive risk management
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing, with a focus on supply chain optimization and cost reduction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and drive insights-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
We offer a competitive salary range of €90,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous paid time off.
