Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team in Luxembourg. This is a newly created position that requires someone with strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data.

About the Role

This role will involve analyzing and solving complex supply chain optimization problems faced by Amazon Europe. You will be responsible for improving customer experience and inventory management in a growing environment.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to create and present documentation for senior executives. Experience of dealing with results, metrics and data management is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan the daily outbound forecast for the CEU FC network.
  • Steer the network on a daily basis concerning operational issues with our fulfillment centers, vendors and sellers teams.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team in areas including Sales and Operations Planning, Placement and Transportation.
  • Develop deep understanding / technical proficiency on all Supply Chain tools
  • Lead complex analysis, develop models and reports to drive key strategic decisions and support implementation on Operations topics across the CEU region
  • Proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources, probes/considers all of the facts, takes into account other perspectives; conducts root cause analysis
  • Standardize methodologies and findings, develop tools to support the increasing complexity of CEU Supply Chain
  • Prioritize projects and feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations
  • Partner with Operations (Supply Chain, Transportation, FC) and Retail / Fulfilled by Amazon teams in CEU
Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and tenacity to develop ideas and processes.
  • Experience of dealing with results, metrics and data management and desire to create and build new processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge of SQL / R / any data analytics tool is a plus.

The salary range for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan and paid time off.
