The estimated salary for this position is €€45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The key responsibilities of the Billing Officer include:

  • Efficiently managing and monitoring accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments, thereby enhancing our cash flow and financial stability.
  • Contacting customers regarding overdue payments, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining open communication channels to prevent potential issues from arising.
  • Generating regular reports on cash collection to provide valuable insights into our financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing support for billing processes, including generating and issuing accurate invoices to clients, to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
  • Verifying billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and communicating effectively with internal teams to ensure billing consistency and compliance.
  • Maintaining organised and up-to-date records of customer payments, billing activities, and communication to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in finance, customer service, and sales to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction, driving business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 2 years' professional experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in cash collection, billing, and customer relations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with any additional language considered an asset.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with clients, facilitating smooth communication regarding payments and billing inquiries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software, ensuring proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
  • A strong motivation to work in a quickly growing, dynamic, and challenging environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • A valid work permit for Luxembourg, ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.
