Construction Contract Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead our team in the construction of a large conference and office centre.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and manage commercial systems and documentation for new managed service contracts from tender to go-live;
- Evaluate and govern contracts, including review, validation, and sign-off of annual renewals;
- Liaise with managers to prepare and implement contract documentation to support proposals to customers;
- Manage contractual issues and investigate variances to provide solutions that meet all parties' needs;
- Highlight deviations from commercial policies and guidelines;
- Draft standard contractual documents, negotiate with third parties, and assist in developing sound commercial processes;
- A strong background in construction and engineering with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role on major projects;
- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
- Specialisation and knowledge of construction law;
- Experience with key legal risk areas, such as contractual liability and insurance requirements;
- Good knowledge of contracts and procurement management;
- Full understanding of the contracting process and construction project process;
- Excellent English and French language skills;
This is a permanent position within the Construction/Civil Engineering sector, focusing on Law/Legal aspects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
