We are seeking an ICT & Security Risk Officer to support our cybersecurity and information security risk management framework. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting with the implementation of security policies, monitoring IT risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
This dual-role position requires someone who can work closely with various departments, including IT, Risk, Compliance, and business units, to safeguard digital assets and minimize cybersecurity threats.
Main Responsibilities- Information Security:
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect our organization's digital assets.
- Analyze security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for mitigation to ensure a secure environment.
- SUPPORT THE MANAGEMENT OF SECURITY AWARENESS PROGRAMS AND TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES TO PROMOTE A SAFETY CULTURE.
- Participate in security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
- Assist in reviewing and implementing access control measures to protect sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.
- Contribute to incident response planning and support investigations when necessary to address security breaches.
- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to inform our risk management strategies.
- ICT Risk:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks to minimize exposure to threats.
- Support the execution of ICT risk assessments and audits to evaluate our risk posture.
- Maintain risk registers and track remediation actions to reduce exposure to threats and ensure continuous improvement.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure our ability to operate during disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, DORA, and other relevant frameworks (CSSF).
- Work with internal teams to implement risk management strategies and controls to achieve our security goals.
- Prepare reports and presentations on security and risk findings for management to inform decision-making.
- 2-5 years of experience in information security, risk management, or IT governance.
- Good knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NIST CSF, and ISACA.
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies and security controls to inform our risk management strategies.
- Familiarity with financial industry and its regulations (CSSF) to ensure compliance.
- Knowledge of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) to stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of networking, infrastructure security, and data protection concepts to design effective security solutions.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners is a plus to enhance our security capabilities.
- Scripting, automation skills, and industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CRISC, or ISO 27001 foundation are an advantage to demonstrate expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex security challenges.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills to present security findings effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve our security objectives.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest security and risk trends to drive continuous improvement.
