We are looking for a Junior Payroll Officer to join our team in Contern, Luxembourg.
**Your Role **:As a Junior Payroll Officer you will be part of the team responsible to manage, prepare and control the entire internal and external payroll run process with close cooperation with the HR Business Partners and the external payroll provider. No experience in Payroll topics (yet)? No problem We will make sure you will get the necessary internal and external trainings to enable you to gradually become a Payroll Expert and a competent advisor for our workforce
**Your Responsibilities**:
- You support the preparation, control and execution of the monthly pay slips for our Luxembourgish branch office with 700 employees;
- You cooperate in account reconciliations within month-end
- and annual closing processes;
- You are the contact person for our employees and managers and in payroll, tax and social security-related questions;
- You drive continuous development and optimization of the payroll processes;
- You will actively participate in payroll-related HR projects;
- You contribute to decision making process by providing statistics and reporting.
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- You successfully completed studies in the area of business administration, finance, or accounting or have similar qualifications;
- You like digging into data and numbers and have a very detail-oriented working style;
- You are used to double-check your results and thus are comfortable in working with sensitive data;
- You enjoy being the go-to-person for a certain topics and have a friendly and patient communication style both in person and via mail;
- You are keen to work in an international set-up and feel comfortable to communicate fluently in English and German. French is a big plus
