Job summary
Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the International Devices Finance team. Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of leading, innovative, and fast-growing devices. The role leads a team that supports the EU Sales & Marketing org for the Echo product line and its associated Smart Home products, covering the launch of new products, pricing & promotional activities, Customer engagement initiatives and financial planning/analysis.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic and thought leader to the Business team as they make decisions across key investment decisions
- Evaluate the economics and financial implications of sales plans
- Forecast and track success metrics to inform future investment decisions
- Perform financial modeling, ad hoc analyses, and maintain operating and business metrics
- Develop scalable and efficient financial processes
- Lead forecasting cycles and provide variance drivers between forecast and actuals for senior leadership finance and business reviews
- Own and drive finance communication with the business teams on product performance, financial impact, and risks & opportunities.
- Lead a team of 1 analyst.
- Familiarity with financial reporting software (Cognos/Oracle/Essbase)
- Familiarity with SQL
- Managing multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion
- Influencing business leader
- Data-based decision making
- Working independently
