Freight Forwarder Assistant

Acting as an interface between Customer, subcontractors, and (not limited to) DSV warehouses & offices related to Air/Sea Freight, warehousing/handling, billing/invoicing.
- Ensures operational excellence and customer satisfaction (internal & external) by following security requirements and SOP’s in place.
- Manage all incidents for all destinations (Air & Sea Import/Export)
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receive and quote Air & Sea request.
- Respect the security rules according to the QHSE compliance.
- Monitor if cargo ready for carriage.
- Ensure all Handling activity and export allotments optimization.
- Guiding the Handling Agent in all Air Export-Import Loading/unloading processes.
- Insure the correct handling for all special cargo/requirements according to customer’s SOPs.
- Escalate Problems and irregularities to relevant departments in charge or involved parties. Initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure GDP-compliance. Maintain the standards of GDP (Good distribution Practice) in LUX.
- Ensure operation excellence, and Customer satisfaction.
- Incident handling. Notify & report any incident to involved party.
**QUALIFICATIONS **(SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
- Sea/ Air Freight forwarding experience.
- Ability to communicate openly and confidently.
- Ability to work within a team with diverse leadership and technical skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present both written and/or oral information.
- Customer focused mindset, willingness to learn and grow.
**Computer Skills**
- Knowledge in Word / Excel and Cargowise is an asset.
**Language Skills**
- English (mandatory - medium or high level).
- French and/or German appreciated
