**ROLE DESCRIPTION**:
We are looking for a Climate Action Manager to join our ESG team in Luxembourg In this new role, supporting our Climate Action pilar, you will be developing and leading SES' climate action strategy. This includes defining and managing a climate transition plan, reporting on advancement of climate action targets, devising meaningful KPIs and levers for reducing environmental impact, working with customers and suppliers in the advancement of projects concerning environmental action, and advancing the integration of carbon accounting into company practices including financial metrics.
Join us in enforcing the ESG team and working towards a more sustainable SES
You will be responsible for _(this is not an exhaustive list)_:
- Develop and execute climate action plan and strategies including the climate transition plan
- Manage the GHG emissions calculation in the company, and enable the use of other metrics to measure SES climate impact
- Collaborate to deliver the assessments of company sites and operations related to environmental impacts and risks
- Include, and report on climate risks in the company’s enterprise risk management approach
- Develop and implement offset programs
- Track and report the progress of SES climate action targets
- Manage and implement measures to minimize SES environmental footprint in alignment with targets
- Work with product and customer teams to align SES Sustainability programs, targets and services to customer expectations
- Contribute to enhancements in SES’ circular approach to products and operations
- Develop and champion the integration of carbon accounting into SES practices, inclusive of financial metrics to drive informed decision-making
**YOUR PROFILE**
- **Must have**
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Circular Design, Climatology, or similar degree
- Minimum 8 years’ work experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role responsible for climate related tasks in a company
- GHG accounting experience
- Knowledge of reporting requirements including CSRD (ESRS), GRI, CDP, SASB, TCFD, Ecovadis
- Sustainability, Carbon accounting or ESG certificate and/or training
- Experience with identifying and quantifying climate risk & scenario analysis
- Experience working with SBTi targets
- Experience working cross functionally and with multiple stakeholders to implement strategy
- Proven experience in environmental project management
