**Who are we looking for**:
- Senior Trader - Commodities - Portfolio Manager_
We are looking for a commodity trader/portfolio manager to lead the development and execution of trading strategies and risk management. Demonstrable experience in managing or developing commodity strategies, with predictive analytics based on fundamental analysis, risk control through hedging strategy is a must.
You will work closely with our team of commodity traders, engineers and data scientists for trading infrastructure support.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for its own commodity portfolio.
- The portfolio should be strong and dynamic with a vertical focus on commodities.
- Collaborate with analysts to improve analytics processes and identify short and long-term opportunities based on fundamentals.
- Risk management, through hedging process control and periodic monitoring.
- Collaborate with other teams, including; strategy reviews, code and common programming advice.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in commodities trading is essential.
- Academic or postgraduate quantitative training; Statistics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial sector: Derivatives Trading, Options trading.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, but in a collaborative team environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, persistent and disciplined with a high degree of motivation and involvement.
- High level of English, fluent oral and written communication.
**Experience**:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a commodities trader.
- Strong Python skills, 2 to 3 years.
- Experience in developing financial algorithms, with predictive analytics and risk control.
**Other required skills**:
- Data Mining, Big data, Quants, Machine Learning, HFT, Market Making, Pure and cross, Arbitrage of different modalities.
**Evaluation criteria**:
- Provide figures or documents.
- Trading history.
- Examples of returns with maximum drawdown.
- Maximum volume of capital managed.
- Performance and risk management evaluation of your trading skills or strategies.
- Have worked in companies in the financial sector, in high-frequency systems and market creation.
**Main Sectors of interest**:
- All types of liquid assets, in particular cryptocurrencies, spot, futures and options.
