**Key Responsibilities**:
As Chapter Lead for the Architect Chapter, you will oversee a team of talented architects dedicated to delivering advanced IT services within a major transformative project. You will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing architecture strategies, ensuring middleware solutions meet top-tier standards for scalability, performance, and security.
**1. Leadership and Team Development**:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of architects, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Align architectural solutions with organizational objectives.
- Support the team’s professional growth to meet evolving challenges.
**2. Middleware Architecture Management**:
- Direct the design and development of robust middleware solutions.
- Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices.
- Ensure architectural designs are properly implemented and maintained.
**3. Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with chapter leads, product owners, and squads to align architecture objectives with overall project goals.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address dependencies.
- Promote knowledge sharing across teams.
**4. Continuous Improvement**:
- Optimize middleware architecture for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Incorporate emerging technologies to enhance solutions.
- Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
**5. Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Act as the go-to expert for middleware architecture-related queries.
- Provide updates to senior management on strategies, progress, and challenges.
- Build strong relationships to ensure solutions align with user needs.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 7 years in IT architecture, focusing on middleware solutions.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to manage and develop technical teams.
- **Technical Skills**: Expertise in middleware technologies like WebLogic, API Gateway, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- **Methodology**: Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe practices.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- **Requirements**: EU citizenship, fluency in English (proficiency in other European languages is a plus). Experience in public administration or similarly complex environments is desirable.
