What is the Business Unit responsible for?

The France and Benelux Distribution team develop strong business partnerships with our clients, who are institutional asset owners, consultants, fund buyers and fund sellers. The Sales Executive we are hiring will expand Franklin Templeton’s business relationships with a set of Luxembourg advisory and discretionary clients (banks, insurance companies, family offices, asset managers, financial advisors).

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Sales Executive?- Contribute to improving Franklin Templeton’s competitive position, by developing strong business relationships with professional investors and turn prospects into clients- Represent the company and its investment solutions in client presentations and conferences- Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the company’s investment processes and products - as well as strong knowledge of market structure: key players, needs, distribution models, product and regulatory trends- Engage with internal teams (e.g. marketing, sales operations, product management, legal, compliance) to organize client support and relay client needs

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?- Bachelor’s degree ideally within the field of Finance and/or economics or equivalent work experience- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in a sales role- Good understanding of the Luxembourg asset management landscape (key players; needs; trends) and established contacts with local fund buyers- Solid knowledge of mutual funds and investment solutions- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills: English and French required, other languages a plus- Develop successful relationships with clients across channels- Ability to listen to others, speak openly, and negotiate effectively- Excellent consultative selling and presentation skills- Get results, work through obstacles, and maintain accountability- Focus on the customer and ensure quality service- Display integrity, manage work pressures and act as a company advocate- Strong team player with the ability to use own initiative.
