SENIOR INVESTOR RELATION OFFICER

The position of Senior Investor Relation Officer forms part of the Fund Department comprising of approximately 7 staff, an integral part of Trident Trust Luxembourg based office of approximately 40 staff. Our team is well-versed in Luxembourg's full range of fund vehicles, including the SIF, SICAR, RAIF, SCSp, umbrella fund structures and securitisation vehicles.
The Investor Relation Officer, part of the Transfer agency team, will report to Director Fund Services of Trident Trust Luxembourg.
Duties
Key client contact person for the alternative investment fund clients and its investors. The IRO will onboard new investors, perform periodical review on investors, take in charge the processing and the validations of shareholder transactions dedicated to the funds, produce shareholder reports and internal reports related to the Transfer Agent records in relation to compliance The IRO aim will be to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and adhering with
company procedures.
IRO typical tasks will include:
- Ensure timely processing of client documentation and account opening/update in accordance with company standards;
- Handling risk assessments and periodical review on investors;
- Co-ordinate and ensure timely, accurate and complete set-up of new investors and investor transactions;
- Produce shareholder reporting dedicated to internal and external purposes;
- Co-ordinate cross-department to meet client needs;
- Ensure adherence to all established procedures and controls as well as all specificities linked to these dedicated clients;
- Establish and develop relationships with clients and its shareholders and handles ad hoc queries;
- Focal point of contact internally for all Investor Relation matters;
- Focal point of contact externally for all Investor Relation matters, amongst others, clients, investors, AIFMs, RCs, banks and auditors;
- Enhance all Transfer agency processes and implement new rules and regulation into procedures;
- Responsible for FATCA and CRS reporting; and
- Responsible for directing investor relation officers
Experience and knowledge
- Strong knowledge of AML and KYC regulation
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a similar position ideally within the alternative investment fund industry;
- Experience in reviewing processes, assessing risks and defining controls;
- Common sense and good use of initiative including the ability to source information; and
- Experience with Viewpoint and PFS Paxus is considered an asset.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluency in English);
- Good attention to detail, while appreciating the bigger picture;
- Excellent administrative, organizational and business support skills with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure;
- Confident individual and self-starter, able to work independently in a specialist role and as part of the fund team; and
- Enthusiastic with a positive “can do” attitude.
Qualifications
- Master degree in a relevant discipline, or
- In the absence of a third level degree, candidate will be considered provided they can clearly demonstrate a strong suitability for the role based on experience and the other requirements set out in the job description.
Training
On-the-job training will be provided but the holder of the post will be expected to have previous experience of company IR services. Trident offers plenty of opportunity for employees to enhance their technical knowledge and experience by operating a Financial Assistance Policy that promotes further study.
