Fondée en 1856, la Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) est la plus ancienne banque universelle du Grand-Duché. Depuis sa création, elle joue un rôle actif dans les principales phases du développement de l'économie luxembourgeoise. Elle exerce aujourd'hui les métiers de banque de détail, banque privée et banque des entreprises et participe aux marchés de capitaux. Acteur majeur de la place financière luxembourgeoise et signataire des « Principles for Responsible Banking » de l'UNEP FI (United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative), la BIL s'engage pour la construction d'une économie durable.
Vos responsabilités :
- Coordinate the preparation, analytical review and sign-off of financial and management reports for the management.
- Establish, monitor and enforce internal controls over financial reporting and formulate financial recommendations.
- Manage and organize all controlling information within the organization and coordinate the accessibility, control and coherence of the management information system.
- Ensure the production, the monitoring and the preparation of annual budget reports, forecasts.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Pilot on yearly basis the budget process of the Bank.
- Analyze financial data - and create financial models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Vos compétences :
- Domain of expertise: Finance
- Education (orientation): Finance, Business Administration, Economy, Accounting, Statistics or equivalent
- Education (required level): Master degree or equivalent by experience
- Languages: French & English are required
- Banking: knowledge and interest about the various businesses of a Universal Bank, good knowledge of their products and services. Skills in Asset and Liability Management are recommended.
- Curious and eager to delve further into Finance topics, making the link between Strategy, Risk Management, ALM and commercial aspects.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency, appetite for data analysis and reconciliation
- IT skills
- MS Office: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Data acquisition and transformation: SQL, knowledge in ETL (Dataiku considered as a plus)
- Data exploitation tools (considered as a plus): Microstrategy, Qliksense, PowerBI
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build sustainable relationships.
- Ability to interact with and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
