Job Summary:
The Head of Risk & Investor Relations F/M - Conducting Officer holds a crucial leadership role in overseeing the risk management framework and improving investor relations within the organization. Reporting directly to top management, this individual ensures compliance with regulations, manages investor relationships, promotes transparency, and drives development initiatives for Private Equity and Real Estate investments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Risk Management: Develop and execute robust risk management policies and procedures in line with regulatory guidelines like UCITS and AIFMD. Assess, minimize, and supervise risks in various business areas, including investment, operational, and compliance risks.
- Development Initiatives: Lead development projects for Private Equity and Real Estate investments, identifying opportunities, conducting due diligence, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support investment activities.
- Investor Relations: Create and implement investor communication strategies to boost transparency and trust. Build and nurture strong relationships with investors, addressing queries, sharing updates, and ensuring alignment with investor expectations.
- Conducting Officer Responsibilities: Act as a Conducting Officer for the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and representing the company in interactions with regulatory bodies.
- Reporting and Governance: Compile and present risk reports and evaluations to senior management and relevant committees. Contribute to governance procedures, including involvement in board meetings and committees as needed.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management & investor relations in the asset management sector.
- Proficiency in French & English languages
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders across different levels.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking, with a proven history of achieving results in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
