Position Summary:

As the Client Onboarding Lifecycle Officer, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating the client onboarding process across fund, corporate, and trust structures. You will ensure timely, compliant, and efficient onboarding of new clients and investors, while contributing to the strategic growth and regulatory integrity of FundBank Luxembourg. This is a leadership role requiring strong organizational, regulatory, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Onboarding Coordination:

  • Manage and oversee the client onboarding lifecycle from initial contact through to operational go-live.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients during the onboarding process.

Process Management & Optimization:

  • Design, document, and implement streamlined onboarding workflows and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance client experience and reduce onboarding timelines.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Compliance, Operations, Customer Service and Business Development teams to facilitate smooth client transitions.
  • Represent the onboarding team in internal governance and client meetings.

Reporting & MI:

  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and dashboards.
  • Provide regular updates and KPIs to senior management and regulators as required.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in client onboarding, KYC/AML, or a related field within the financial services sector.
  • Solid understanding of Luxembourg regulatory frameworks (e.g. CSSF AML/CTF requirements, AMLD).
  • Proven experience onboarding complex legal structures such as funds, SPVs, trusts, and corporates.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluent in English; French, German or any other European language is a plus.
