Your next challenge
- Prepare and conduct workshops with relevant IT and functional stakeholders to gather insights on current data landscape and future data requirements
- Perform an end-to-end cartography of data flows within and between systems. Deep dive into specific data flows to understand data sources, destinations, paths, transformations, interactions, and dependencies. Create high level and more detailed visual representations of data flows
- Conduct data inventory, gather relevant information on data structure & characteristics and create a data catalog
- Capture current challenges, painpoints, issues, and risks around data and conduct root cause analysis to understand underlying causes and potential mitigation areas
- Provide recommendations for improvement to solve current data issues and mitigate data risks
- Support in the definition of the target data approach and data operating model (principles, governance, process & tools)
- Help defining standards and rules to apply for all data management capabilities (data governance, data quality management, data architecture, masterdata / metadata management, data risks & controls, technology & tools)
Your skills
- A Master's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Data Management, Business Administration or related fields
- Strong interest in data and related fields, including IT systems and technologies and minimum 1 year experience in data governance / data management
- Familiar with key data concepts, masterdata and metadata related standards, processes and technology (including data warehouse and ETL) and knowledge about data management capabilities (data governance, data quality, data architecture)
- Proactive mindset, you propose ideas and display initiative, critical thinking, solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to summarize complex information and present them in a clear and simple way
- Eager to learn, you maintain positive attitude and resilience
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams & various stakeholders and display strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in project and change management is preferred
- Fluency in English. French is considered as an asset
