Anderson Wise is happy to share this exciting position for an experienced finance professional to join our client, a global alternative asset fund management group focusing on Middle Market private equity and credit investments.
You will be expected to engage with the AIFM, the relevant teams in London, and other key internal and external stakeholders, as applicable.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the Credit funds operations program in Luxembourg.
- On a quarterly basis and in connection with the quarterend NAV activities, oversee production and approval of the NAV calculations, investor capital accounts, and fund reports activities in collaboration with the fund control team.
- On an annual basis and in connection with the yearend reporting activities, oversee the planning and coordination of the audit activities for the relevant Credit funds and investment platform SPVs in collaboration with the fund control team.
- On an ad hoc basis and as applicable, oversee the production and approval of the fund capital events in collaboration with the fund control team, the treasury team, and the portfolio management team.
- On an ad hoc basis and as applicable, oversee the fund financing activities, including utilisations, repayments, and periodic monitoring in collaboration with the treasury team.
- Assist the investor relations team with timely and effective coordination of investor queries relating to fund operations matters.
- Oversee the implementation of fund and investment structures, including incorporations, liquidations, restructurings and intragroup financing.
- Act as a senior relationship contact visàvis fund administrators, banks, legal counsel, tax advisors and external auditors.
- Take leadership over strategic and operational projects related to the Luxembourg fund operations for the Luxembourg office and the wider group.
- Documentation of the work and internal reporting: maintain robust records and contribute to periodic reporting on fund operations activities to senior management and the Board, as required.
- Manage a team, including responsibilities for the personal development of supervised staff, lead the preparation, review and assessment of annual objectives, the annual appraisal activities, and the relevant hiring activities.
- Lead meetings with the AIFM and the investment advisers, as applicable.
- Chair board meetings as a board of funds and investment structures member.
- Prepare and present executivelevel reports, presentations and summaries to senior management and board members.
- Advise senior management and the board on key fund operational matters, including addressing efficiency and risk.
Your Requirements:
- At least 810 years of relevant experience in fund management, accounting, administration, or audit within the private equity industry, preferably with relevant knowledge and exposure to Private Credit and Private Equity.
- Good knowledge of alternative fund industry, structures, and regulation (including AIFMD).
- ACCA or equivalent, CFA, CAIA or other relevant qualification is beneficial.
- Management experience is required.
- Strong communication skills ensuring clear, transparent, concise, and appropriate communication.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with the ability to seamlessly work within teams and independently.
- Demonstrates a willingness to assess all viable and practical alternatives to solve various daytoday issues.
