- 33359Our client, a renewable energy investment company, is currently looking to further grow their team and is currently looking for an experienced professional to join their Luxembourg operating as a Business Controller.
In this role, you will have an excellent opportunity to continue your career progression by working closely with the Fund Controller and Reporting Specialist in the overall controlling and reporting of financial information on investments driving the overall business performance and growth.
Your responsibilities:
- Working closely with service providers in accounting for investments and related accounts.
- Proactively seek guidance from the Business Controlling and Financial Planning & Analysis teams in HQ to ensure overall alignment on business finance objectives and valuations, respectively.
- Proactively seeking clarifications and provides quick turnaround in the controlling process.
- Ensures to deliver accurate financial records on investments and are controlled on a timely basis.
- Anticipate and proactively seek in advance answers to any investmentrelated accounting issues.
- Monitor and ensure that all controlling milestones and deliverables for all Fund entities are complied with.
- Must be able to provide financial inputs and disclosures in the financial statements and reports related to investments. Regular communication with stakeholders, auditors and service providers is essential in achieving business finance controlling expectations.
- Build a strong relationship with key stakeholders (Local service providers and key employees from the HQ Finance department)
Your profile:
- We imagine that you have 35 years of experience in a similar position with experience from the financial or fund administration industry in Luxembourg.
- Experience in working with fund administration and a service provider set up in Luxembourg.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and/or controlling for investments following IFRS (LUXGAAP and other GAAP is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills, have a good attention to details and be a solutionoriented person.
- Strong communication skills converting high complex topics into executive communication.
- Confident/assertive, interactive and sociable/outgoing personality.
- Knowledgeable of common PE/Infrastructure funds, fund flows and Luxembourg regulation.
- Team player with excellent stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Committed and have a strong sense of work ownership.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
