We are currently looking for a
Senior Business Controller - Procurement for one of our client which is an international company.


As a
Senior Business Controller - Procurement, you will have a key role in analyzing and controlling procurement costs and in the further development, optimization and implementation of new reporting systems and processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Business process analysis & reporting of procurement activities in Luxembourg and other Buying Departments in the group.
  • Improving the quality of processes & data by developing and implementing new reports, measurable KPI's and tools in line with agreed objectives.
  • Monitoring and financial analysis of the gross margins per category & per item of the ICP businesse.
  • Performing a risk analysis per product category (price & availability).
  • Participation in negotiations.
  • Controlling of Benchmark plan' Konzernplan'.
  • Recognizing patterns in data & information, drawing logical conclusions.
  • Reporting findings to management on a regular base to achieve the objectives.
  • Acting as business partner to the different heads of the departments and provide comprehensive financial data and analysis with realistic recommendations to facilitate management decision taking.
  • Preparing and presenting meaningful presentations to the management
  • Participating in global projects together with crossfunctional teams.
  • Checking purchase agreements & conditions.
  • Supporting internal audit controls.
  • Master's degree in finance, business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum years' experience in controlling.
  • Fluent in
    English and German.
  • Knowledge of SAP and BI.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively throughout various departments and hierarchical levels.
  • Intercultural competence, adherence to respect for and appreciation of colleagues with different cultural background.
  • Superior analytical & processthinking skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, wellorganized, and quality oriented.
  • Willingness to travel more frequently, especially to the head office in Germany (Grafschaft).
