Team- / Divisionbeschreibung

Das Team ESG Product Specialist und ESG-Frameworks unterstützt die internen Investmentteams der DWS und externe Kunden bei der Bereitstellung von ESG-Informationen zur Retailfonds und Frameworks für thematische Investmentlösungen. Das Team ist die erste Anlaufstelle innerhalb der DWS für die Implementierung regulatorischer Anforderungen in den ESG-Filtern und Frameworks für thematische ESG-Anlagelösungen und fokussiert sich hierbei auf Klimalösungen. Als integraler Bestandteil der Produktabteilung der DWS initiiert das Team die Einführung, Entwicklung sowie die Weiterentwicklung von ESG-Produkten und -Lösungen und koordiniert Vertriebsstrategien.

Rollenbeschreibung

Als Senior ESG Product Specialist werden Sie:

• Identifikation von regulatorische Anforderungen und Themen im Sustainable Finance-Bereich identifizieren, sowie sie übersetzen und in Rahmenwerken und Produktkonzepten implementieren
• Eigenverantwortliche die nächste Generation von Nachhaltigkeitsprodukten in allen liquiden Anlageklassen entwickeln
• produktbezogener Research sowie quantitative Analysen und Auswertungen durchführen
• Präsentationsmaterial zu den ESG-Rahmenwerken vorbereiten
• Als zentrale*r Ansprechpartner*in für die ESG-bezogene Produktentwicklung innerhalb der DWS agieren
• Enge mit internen Stakeholdern, z.B. Client Coverage, Produktspezialisten, Portfoliomanagement, Engagement und ESG-Datenspezialisten zusammen arbeiten
• bei Ad-hoc-Anfragen von Kunden und internen Parteien (z.B. Product Specialists, Portfoliomanager, Vertrieb), ESG-RfPs und -questionnaires unterstützen
  

Wir suchen

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung mit nachhaltigen und thematischen Anlagelösungen im Bereich Sustainable Finance
• Starke analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten zur Verarbeitung und Interpretation von Daten
• Beherrschung von Microsoft Office, insbesondere Excel und PowerPoint; Programmierkenntnisse (VBA, R, Python) sind ein Plus
• Kenntnisse in der Sustainable Finance Regulatorik (z.B. SFDR) sowie klima- biodiversitätsbezogener Rahmenwerke (z.B. TCFD / TNFD, SBTi / SBTN)
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich.
• Sie sind ein starker Teamplayer und eine Persönlichkeit, die sich in einem sehr dynamischen und schnell wechselnden Umfeld mit ständig wechselnden Aufgabenstellungen sehr wohl fühlt

Team / division overview

The ESG Product Specialist and ESG Frameworks team supports DWS' internal investment teams and external clients in providing ESG retail product-related information and ESG thematic investment solution frameworks. The team is the first point of contact within DWS for the product-related implementation of regulatory requirements in ESG filters and for thematic investment solution frameworks, focusing on climate solutions. As an integral part of DWS' product department, the team initiates the launch, development, and enhancement of ESG products and solutions and coordinates distribution strategies.

Role Details

As a Senior ESG Product Specialist you will (be):

• Consider providing the most critical requirements of the role here and using active words from our EVP
• Identify regulatory requirements and topics in the sustainable finance area as well as translate and implement them in ESG filters, frameworks and product concepts
• Develop the next generation of sustainability products in all liquid asset classes
• Carry out product-related research and quantitative analyses and evaluations
• Prepare presentation material on the ESG frameworks
• Act as central point of contact for ESG-related product development within DWS
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, e.g., client coverage, product specialists, portfolio management, engagement and ESG data specialists
• Support ad hoc requests from clients and internal parties (e.g., Product Specialists, Portfolio Managers, Sales), ESG RfPs and questionnaires.
  

We are looking for

• Several years of experience with sustainable and thematic investment solutions in sustainable finance
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to process and interpret data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; programming skills (VBA, R, Python) are a plus
• Knowledge of sustainable finance regulation (e.g. SFDR) and climate and biodiversity-related frameworks (e.g. TCFD / TNFD, SBTi / SBTN)
• Excellent written and spoken German & English is required.
• You are a strong team player with a personality that is very comfortable in a very dynamic and fast-changing environment with ever-changing tasks
