Senior Legal Manager

Are you a highly experienced legal and compliance professional, with strong knowledge of the Luxembourg corporate services world based on your direct experience in a PSF/fiduciary? Are you looking for an interesting legal and compliance role?
We have an unusual opportunity to work as a member of the local management team, handling all matters of legal and compliance in Luxembourg. You'll work in a family orientated environment, where you are more than just a number, and you will be expected to work on-site to ensure a cohesive office environment and strong intra-office engagement. You will support your colleagues in a range of legal and compliance issues, and have a proactive, can-do attitude, with a commitment to your work.
A quick summary of tasks is:
· Provide legal support on a broad range of issues locally, such as letters of engagement, contracts, terms and conditions, data protection, etc.), working with legal counsel and the head office where necessary;
· Review legal and tax advice and respond appropriately;
· Provide legal support to colleagues in the Company Secretary team on complex issues;
· Provide regular updates on statutory / regulatory obligations, and ensure that the group's policies, procedures and guidelines are up to date;
· Promote the group's core values both internally and to clients;
· Ensure all AML, compliance and risk procedures are adhered to, and adapt policies as necessary to respond to regulatory changes;
· Participate in management team meetings as a core member;
· Have regular communication with the head office
· Ensure a prompt and professional service is provided to clients and intermediaries;
· Manage, delegate and review the work of team members where relevant;
· Promote the company's services the group and identify new business opportunities;
In order to be considered for this role you:
· Work in Luxembourg already
· Possess fluent English language skills, ideally also with fluent French, with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
· Have at least a Master's degree in Law, and ideally prior work as a lawyer in either a law firm with strong knowledge of fiduciary services, or experience working in the legal department of a fiduciary / psf.
· Have strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate services, and probably at least 10 years' overall experience with experience in a fiduciary.
· Great technical skills, with the ability to work autonomously
· Experience of people / business management
· Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge
· Ability to shape policies and procedures
· A hands on mentality
