Scientific contacts

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Set up the project, manage sample processing
  • Conduct wetlab experiments, optimize biomarker analysis, run cfDNA isolation and sequencing
  • Participate in data analysis and model generation depending on individual agreement
  • Publish results in scientific journals and/or file patents if applicable
  • Participate in training and international scientific conferences
  • Disseminate results to the scientific community and the public
  • Participate in laboratory activities including seminars and interaction with other teams

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • PhD in molecular/cellular biology/biochemistry or similar, with solid research experience.
  • Wet laboratory and analytical skills, experience with nextgeneration or longread sequencing.
  • Interest in bioinformatics and programming
  • Previous experience in bioinformatics, R and/or Python programming will be considered a strong asset
  • Scientific creativity and originality, precise perseverance, writing skills, good communication skills
  • Language skills: fluent command of English; knowledge of other languages of the European Union is an asset
