The opportunity


We are looking to hire a Payment Flow Accounting Expert who will be in charge of accounting, analysis and process optimization of diverse payment flows for a multitude of entities.

You will be a member of the "Intermediation Accounting" team that as a whole focuses on the finance aspects of

Client Funds Handling:
accounting of these flows, executing of adequate controls, homogenization of processes and methodologies and implementation of strategic tooling. It also challenges, when relevant, business decisions based on the overall understanding of and empowerment on the end-to-end process.

It possess at the end of the day, a sound understanding of the top line and anticipate trends impacts on financial KPIs and cash-flows.

In this role, you'll report to the Group Intermediation Accounting Manager.

There is also a strong connection required with the technical project teams, in particular in the area of reconciliation, and the operational reconciliation teams.

The team is composed by 3 people working on project and support to an operational team of 10 persons dedicated to our daily reconciliation operations.

In Intermediation Accounting, we are globally minded with a FinTech atmosphere. You will experience this in your everyday life as a Worldliner.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • You will assist in guaranteeing the watertightness of the payment flows through setup of efficient accounting and excellent reconciliations
  • You will design and implement adequate controls to prevent and detect incidents and unauthorized activities
  • You will ensure an optimal implementation in daytoday activities of reconciliation tools and its maintenance
  • You will assist the daily intermediation accounting operations to work efficiently
  • You will assist in analysing the impact of incidents (incident management) and follow up any changes to avoid recurrence

  • You are supporting daily the operational intermediation accounting team and contribute in a partnership mindset with Finance and Business teams to an improved understanding and documentation of the endtoend process of Client Funds Handling.

Skills we'd like:

  • You are holding a master degree in Finance
  • You are fluent English. French and/or German is an asset
  • Payment and settlement process experience is a plus
  • Visual Basic and BI Powerquery knowledge is a plus
  • You are eager to learn more about Payment Flows and have an affinity with technology
  • You have between 3 and 5 years experience
