LISER invites motivated students to join the research teams at the
Urban Development and Mobility
department (UDM) at
LISER within the framework of the research project "_Healthy, inclusive and sustainable remote working futures as a Win-Win for employees and employers in urban, rural, and cross-border areas_" (
WinWin4WorkLife project).

This project seeks to study the economic, social and spatial impacts of remote working arrangements such as working-from-home, working in satellite office, and digital nomads.


Your Role:

As an Intern, your tasks will include:

  • Academic literature review;
  • Developing a lexicon with definitions on remote work;
  • Collecting examples from previous employer and employee surveys;
  • Participate in report writing and other tasks in relation with the project.

Your Profile:

  • You are currently enrolled as a
    Master student in
    geography,
    economics, social sciences, political science or a related field;:
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English;
  • Interest in studying economic, social and/or spatial impacts of remote working arrangements.
