Desktop Image Specialist - M365

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Adoption of M365 Technologies:

  • Drive the adoption of M365 modern workplace technologies to enhance digital workspace.

Design and Implementation:

  • Design, plan, develop, and implement solutions within the M365 portfolio of services.
  • Contribute to the design vision and create project-related documentation.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide hands-on support for Mobile Device Management (MDM)/Intune.
  • Provide hands-on support for M365 applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to M365.

Collaboration and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with team members to analyse information, define and prioritise requirements, and evaluate potential solutions.
  • Participate in meetings and communicate effectively in English.

Expert Advice and Best Practices:

  • Offer expert advice and assistance in M365-related areas.
  • Conduct technology watch, evaluation studies, and provide architectural considerations and best practices.
  • Make recommendations on best practices and standards.

Security Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards across the M365 tenant.

Agile Methodology:

  • Adhere to Agile methodology for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the M365 tenant.
Qualifications and Skills

Educational and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in professional experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant professional experience.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in M365 administration, configuration, design, and deployment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: 1 Mobile Device and Workplace Management (e.g., Endpoint Manager, Intune, Autopilot, PowerShell).
2 User Identity Management (e.g., Azure Active Directory, Licenses Management).
3 Information Protection and Governance (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention).
4 Collaboration and Communication (e.g., Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams).

Communication and Documentation:

  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Collaborative Approach:

  • Collaborative and proactive attitude.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving and project execution.

Additional Skills and Experience (Desirable):

  • General knowledge of networking and ICT infrastructure.
  • System engineering expertise with knowledge of on-premise AD, Exchange server, and hybrid environments.
  • Previous experience in Agile environments (certifications such as PM- Agile are a plus).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Previous experience in EU institutions.
  • Ability to work in international and multicultural environments.
