Pleased to work on behalf of a leading Corporate Finance team in Luxembourg who currently seek to hire a Director of M&A.

Role:

Lead and manage large M&A transactions
Develop a through understanding of the client’s requirements, working with them to develop the best approach
Work closely with colleagues to ensure that work is properly executed at all times
Identify and anticipate risks that require escalation
Play a key role in all origination efforts by identifying and analysing business development opportunities
Communicate effectively internally, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of deal progress and risks
Actively strengthen external relationships to broaden your network and contribute to origination efforts
Actively mentor and develop more junior members of the team

Candidate:

Proven track record of working beginning to end on large M&A transactions is essential
Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar level of education
Fluent English plus French or German speaker ideally
Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
High level of commercial acumen
Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis and the ability to identify potential areas of sensitivity
Ability to identify key issues on assignments and suggest workable solutions
Experience in presenting findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients
Eligible to work in Luxembourg. Unfortunately, candidates who need visa sponsorship can not be considered for this role
