Your role 💼

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to join a dynamic banking environment and contribute to the development, maintenance and evolution of business-critical applications.

This is a hands-on role for a developer who enjoys understanding existing applications, working autonomously, and delivering high-quality solutions within an Agile team.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Develop, maintain and enhance backend applications using C# and VB.NET.
• Design, build and maintain REST APIs, SOAP web services, and system integrations.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure application quality through testing, code reviews and secure development practices.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and improve existing applications.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps and other development teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements 💡

• 8 years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of C#, VB.NET, and the .NET Framework/.NET ecosystem.
• Solid experience developing and consuming REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• Good understanding of SQL Server, relational databases, and Entity Framework (or similar ORM).
• Experience with authentication and API security (OAuth2, JWT).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and multithreading.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps (or similar tools).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in French is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Hangfire, or MassTransit).
• Knowledge of Java or COBOL.
• Experience with legacy application modernization.
