Description

  • *Position: Regulatory Governance & Data Protection Lead**

As a Regulatory Governance & Data Protection Lead, you will:

  • Serve as a practical, hands-on compliance partner for the business teams in Luxembourg.
  • Assist in establishing and integrating a robust control environment as a new non-performing loans purchasing and execution desk evolves.
  • Create, modify, and roll out policies and procedures to align Luxembourg operations with the broader organizational framework.
  • Support the execution desk activities to ensure they comply with local regulatory standards and internal governance requirements.
  • Lead and assist in data mapping efforts while maintaining the internal Record of Processing Activities (ROPA).
  • Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer(s) on GDPR-related documentation, tasks, and ongoing governance efforts.
  • Engage closely with Group stakeholders, including Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and IT, to ensure consistent implementation across borders.
  • Take charge of practical monitoring routines and documentation that demonstrate compliance in daily operations.
  • Contribute to training initiatives, raise awareness, and promote continuous improvement as the platform expands.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Up to approximately five years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or a similar regulatory role, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Excellent capability to convert regulatory requirements into actionable and practical measures.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting or establishing policies and procedures, as well as documenting control measures.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and privacy regulations, with significant preference for candidates who have experience in ROPA and data mapping.
  • Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the confidence to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; any additional language is considered an asset.

Desirable Qualifications Include

  • Legal experience related to compliance, whether in an in-house capacity or within private practice.
  • Exposure to non-performing loans, credit, servicing, or specialized situation environments.
  • Knowledge or experience with securitization processes, structures, and related documentation.
