About KAPITAL
KAPITAL is building the financial infrastructure that enables independent wealth managers and asset managers to structure, issue, and scale their private market investments.
Our core offer sits in Luxembourg and supports the issuance of ISIN bankable feeder funds, co-investment structures, and private asset investment vehicles. We work with clients across Switzerland, Europe, and the U.S. - helping them turn their investment strategies into fully bankable investment products.
At the core of the company is client obsession. Our clients are the investment advisors of UHNWIs and institutional-grade wealth managers. The client relationship shapes everything we do - from our tech and legal stack to our processes and communications.
KAPITAL is growing fast with revenue up 70% year-over-year in the first half of this year, and we've been expanding the team across Luxembourg and Switzerland to match. Joining now means joining at the inflection point, with real ownership from day one.
The Brief
This is an operational excellence role - the first line of defense at the heart of KAPITAL's compliance function.
Every client we onboard, every investor we admit, and every asset we subscribe to passes through your hands. Our business moves fast, our volumes are growing quarter over quarter, and the quality bar our clients expect is absolute. Your job is to execute the KYC/AML and deal-documentation lifecycle flawlessly, quickly, and repeatedly.
You will inherit established frameworks, flows, and processes - this is not a build-from-scratch role. Your mandate is to run them excellently, and to sharpen them as you go: your suggestions on process, tooling, and automation are genuinely welcome and will reach both the operations and engineering teams. But execution comes first, and it is how success in this role is measured.
What You'll Own
1. KYC/AML Onboarding
- Run end-to-end due diligence on new clients, their investors, Ultimate Beneficial Owners, and the underlying assets of each structure.
- Collect, verify, and analyse KYC documentation in line with our internal AML/CFT framework and Luxembourg law.
- Conduct screening (PEP, sanctions, adverse media), assess risk profiles, trigger enhanced due diligence where warranted, and escalate findings clearly.
2. KYC/AML Monitoring
- Maintain ongoing monitoring across our growing base of clients, investors, advisors, and assets: periodic file reviews, refreshed screening, and up-to-date records in the compliance database.
- Keep compliance registers and logs audit-ready at all times.
- Flag risks early and escalate with clear, jargon-free communication.
3. Subscription Documents
- Complete the subscription documentation for the underlying assets our vehicles invest in - long, detailed deal documents where a single wrong field has real consequences.
- Populate vehicle details, status, subscription amounts, and supporting information with total accuracy, often under deal-driven deadlines.
4. Counterparty KYC of KAPITAL Vehicles
- Complete the KYC of our issuer vehicles with the underlying assets and counterparties we subscribe to - a demanding, detail-heavy process you'll come to run in your sleep.
And, as part of a lean team:
- Support periodic regulatory and compliance reporting.
- Pick up, scan, and route incoming mail to the right team member and archive. Everyone here contributes to keeping operations running smoothly.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a policy, strategy, or board-advisory role. We are not hiring someone to redesign our compliance framework - we're hiring someone to execute it at the highest standard in the market.
That said, we promote from within and build careers deliberately. As you master the first line, there is a genuine path to grow into second-line work - policy, monitoring plans, regulatory strategy - earned through demonstrated operation
