Company Description: Be Human is a nonprofit organization based in Luxembourg committed to equipping and empowering young people from diverse backgrounds with the tools and skills to overcome hidden and visible barriers and drive meaningful change. Our initiatives aim not only to help young people realize their full potential but also to foster a sense of community and belonging. Be Human currently has two main programs: the PowHer Leadership Program and the Hidden Disability Hub. The Community Operations Officer will support all our programs and initiatives.

Role Description: We are looking for a Community Operations Officer to serve as the connective tissue between our program participants, our volunteers, and our broader public audience. This person will manage our volunteer base from onboarding through ongoing coordination, keep our community engaged and informed across WhatsApp and in-person events, support our digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and help plan the events that bring our community together. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role suited to someone who is equally comfortable behind a laptop drafting documentation and, in a room, facilitating a workshop, support group, or event.


This role is a good fit for you if you have:


  • A Diploma, Certificate, or degree in Social Sciences, (Special) Education, Communication Science/Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • OR Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications. We value skills, capability and practical experience more than academic background.
  • Demonstrable excellent English skills, Fluency in French and/or Luxembourgish is preferred.


Additional skills that will be considered an advantage:


  • Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystems, Canva, DocuSign (and similar platforms), WhatsApp, or similar community/content tools
  • Video editing
  • Experience supporting or working with neurodivergent and/or disabled communities.
  • Project management experience

  • You can work independently, manage your own time, and know when to ask for input
  • You can work on-site in Luxembourg

What does this commitment look like practically?

  • This is a part-time 4-month CDD role. We are looking for someone who can work 20-30 hours per week (hybrid)
  • The position is open from August 16th 2026.
  • There is a high likelihood of a 2-year contract extension.
