Our financial services client based in Luxembourg is currently looking for a Test Engineer. This is a contract/freelance role for 6 months initially with good potential of extension.
Due to nature of the role it is 5 days per week onsite.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a relevant team
- 7+ years or relevant working experience
- Proven experience in testing (test design and test execution) in cross-functional teams
- Experience using test management/tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Test/QA certifications (ISTQB)
- Experience in quality assurance using software package is a plus
- Experience in finance domain and fund industry will be considered an asset
Tasks:
- Analyse requirements, user stories and specifications in close collaboration with Business Analysts and solution owners to support test planning and scope definition,
- Design, prepare, maintain and execute manual test cases covering functional, integration, performance and regression testing for eFront platform,
- Execute test cycles, analyse results, log and track defects, and verify fixes in coordination with implementation team, after resolution,
- Prepare and maintain test data, test documentation, and test reports supporting release and go/no go decisions.
- Support system integration testing and hyper care phases, contributing to overall solution quality and stability,
- Work closely with internal co leagues and the service provider:
- Ensuring effective communication, coordination and timely delivery across testing activities,
- Reviewing/challenging scripts and test data developed by the service provide
