New Position - Regulatory Compliance Coordinator - Private Banking | Luxembourg

Anderson Wise is recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator. This role is central to coordinating regulatory compliance processes, projects, and stakeholder communication across the bank, working in close support of the Chief Compliance Officer.

This is not a typical AML/KYC-focused compliance role; it focuses on project management, process coordination, and regulatory oversight, ensuring that compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements are effectively implemented and communicated across the organisation.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive compliance-related projects from planning through implementation, ensuring deadlines and regulatory deliverables are met.
  • Monitor regulatory developments (including MiFID II) and support the assessment of their impact on the bank's operations.
  • Act as a key point of coordination between the CCO/Deputy CCO and internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance matters.
  • Support the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of CSSF-related communications, filings, and reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental input for compliance projects and regulatory initiatives
  • Prepare materials, updates, and reports for senior management and the CCO.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between Compliance and other departments (Legal, Risk, Front Office, Operations, Business Development) to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and embedded.

Our Client is looking for:

  • Solid experience in regulatory compliance within a Luxembourg bank or financial institution, ideally in a private banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MiFID II and the Luxembourg regulatory framework (CSSF)
  • Demonstrated project management experience or strong project coordination skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior management.
  • A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English required; French is highly valued given the Luxembourg regulatory environment.
  • A relevant degree (Law, Finance, Economics, or related field) and/or a compliance certification is an asset.

What our client is offering:

  • Great team to join, flat hierarchy, excellent working conditions.
  • Opportunity to work closely with the CCO and Deputy CCO on high-visibility regulatory matters
  • Salary range: €90-100K, based on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • Banking convention benefits
  • Additional pension insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Meal vouchers
  • Central Luxembourg City location, easily accessible
