About the Role

Join our client’s international team in Luxembourg and contribute to a prestigious, large-scale digital transformation programme within the financial sector.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to coordinate software-development activities across multiple squads and manage dependencies between different projects and applications.

The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end delivery, supporting the teams from technical architecture and Agile planning through to testing and production deployment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end delivery accountability across multiple squad workstreams and applications;
  • Coordinate activities from technical architecture and Kanban flow through to production deployment;
  • Manage cross-application and cross-squad dependencies;
  • Monitor delivery progress and ensure alignment across the different workstreams;
  • Identify risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies;
  • Prepare project status reports and management reports when required;
  • Coordinate decisions with Product Owners, Technical Leads and QA Leads;
  • Coach the teams and promote continuous improvement;
  • Ensure effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders;
  • Support the successful delivery of complex software solutions within tight deadlines.


Required Experience and Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies;
  • Experience with Work in Progress management and flow metrics;
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple squads;
  • Proven accountability for delivery outcomes, not only task execution;
  • Experience across the full software-delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering through testing and production deployment;
  • Experience working in a large enterprise or banking environment;
  • Hands-on experience in software engineering;
  • Solid expertise in software-quality management and test automation;
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business-level status and risk communication.
  • Hands-on software-development experience in Java (Preferred)

Assignment Details

  • Working model: Hybrid - 3 times per week at the office
  • Start date: 10 August 2026;
  • End date: 31 December 2026;
  • The assignment may be extended at the client’s request.
  • Language of deliverables: English.
