Role Description The Architect / Construction Engineer (Building-Oriented) will contribute to the planning and design of residential, commercial, and mixed-use building projects within AGORA’s development areas. This full-time, on-site role in Luxembourg involves preparing architectural and engineering drawings, coordinating technical studies, and ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards. The role includes collaborating closely with urban planners, project managers, external design offices, and contractors to align building concepts with overall district development strategies. Daily tasks may involve reviewing construction documents, supporting tender processes, monitoring project progress, and participating in site visits to ensure quality, safety, and design intent. The position also requires clear documentation, reporting, and active involvement in multidisciplinary project meetings.

Qualifications

• Architectural and structural design skills for building projects, including proficiency in creating concept and detailed plans.
• Competence in using design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent BIM tools) and standard office applications.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and sustainability principles relevant to Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
• Experience in project coordination, including collaboration with planners, engineers, contractors, and public or private stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear technical documentation and reports.
• Fluency in French and/or German; good command of English is an asset, additional languages are beneficial.
• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional experience in building projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on-site in Luxembourg, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a multidisciplinary, evolving environment.
• Interest in urban development, sustainable construction, and long-term project stewardship within complex development areas.
