Senior Liquidity Risk Consultant
Location: Luxembourg (hybrid)
Day Rate: €425 per day
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Contract Length: 9 Months (until 31st May 2027)
The Opportunity
We are supporting a leading financial institution in Luxembourg in the search for an experienced Senior Liquidity Risk Consultant to join their Risk function on an initial 9-month engagement.
This role will provide specialist support across key liquidity risk initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of regulatory reporting, liquidity frameworks, and risk governance activities. You'll work closely with Risk, Treasury and Finance teams, contributing to business-critical regulatory deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality liquidity risk reporting and regulatory documentation.
- Support the production of Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) reports.
- Contribute to Contingency Funding Plans (CFP) and Liquidity Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Review and enhance liquidity risk frameworks, ensuring consistency across all reporting.
- Perform liquidity risk analysis in line with regulatory requirements.
- Produce clear, accurate and well-structured reports suitable for senior management and regulatory review.
- Work closely with Risk, Treasury and Finance stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of key reporting cycles.
- Identify reporting improvements and maintain high standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
- Support liquidity stress testing activities and wider liquidity risk initiatives.
- Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards and regulatory expectations.
Required Experience
- 4+ years' experience within Financial Risk or Liquidity Risk Management.
- Strong background in:

- Experience working within banks, financial institutions or regulated financial services environments.
- Excellent understanding of liquidity risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Experience producing regulatory documentation and technical reports.
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities.
