We have an opportunity for a Chief Information Security Officer as a Service. The selected consultant will act as an interim CISO and advisor to Management on cybersecurity matters.

Responsibilities include:

Steering information security governance.
Supporting regulatory compliance, specifically regarding NIS2 requirements.
Maintaining and evolving the cybersecurity risk register.
Participating in the development and updating of security policies, standards, and procedures.
Supporting technical teams in projects with security impacts.
Supervising vulnerability management and tracking remediation plans.
Contributing to the preparation and management of security incidents.
Participating in crisis management and business continuity exercises.
Producing security dashboards and indicators for Management.
Ensuring knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Preparing the transition to the future permanent CISO.
Participating in Architecture Boards and issuing necessary security validations.
Contributing to the implementation of documented standards and best practices.

The consultant must provide at least the following:

An assessment of cybersecurity maturity.
A cybersecurity risk map.
A prioritized action plan.
A security dashboard and associated indicators.
Updates to priority policies and procedures.
A 12 to 24-month cybersecurity roadmap.
A transition file for the future permanent CISO.
Reports and recommendations related to Architecture Boards.
Documentation of standards implemented during the mission.

Basic must-have requirements for the candidate:

At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT governance.
Significant experience as a CISO, outsourced CISO, or senior cybersecurity consultant.
Strong command of ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST, CIS, or equivalent frameworks.
In-depth knowledge of NIS2 requirements.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
Ability to interact with technical teams, business lines, and Management.
Excellent communication and popularization skills.

Job-related details:

Full-time, five days a week
Duration: Until the end of 2027.
Extension: 3 – 6 months.
Location: Luxembourg – on-site at the client.
Remote Work: 2 days per week authorized.
Working Arrangements: Provision of laptop and dedicated spaces by the client.
