Objective
Data Scientist Consultant – Execution of Data Science, Machine Learning, and GenAI projects.
The Data Scientist consultant must have at least 5 years of professional experience in developing Machine Learning models and GenAI solutions, as well as in the industrialization of AI solutions.
They will work within the CFL Data Science team to contribute to the design, development, industrialization, and monitoring of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases that address business needs.
They will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, integrating MLOps and GenAIOps practices.
Mission: Execution of Data Science projects (ML & GenAI)
Define objectives, performance indicators, success criteria, and associated functional or technical specifications.
Prepare, analyze, and structure data (structured and unstructured): collection, cleaning, transformation, documentation.
Design, develop, train, evaluate, and optimize ML & GenAI models tailored to business needs.
Implement and industrialize pipelines (workflows, APIs, batch processing, automation).
Ensure operational oversight: monitoring, performance, quality, and risk management.
Document and maintain models, components, and best practices (MLOps & GenAIOps).

Required skills and expertise
Proficiency in Data Science and Machine Learning methods.
Expertise in GenAI and language models (RAG, semantic search, embeddings, prompt engineering).
Proficiency in Python, standard libraries, and SQL.
Experience in preparing, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing structured and unstructured data.
Experience with Data Science or AI platforms, specifically Dataiku or equivalent. Experience in the industrialization, supervision, and operational monitoring of ML and GenAI solutions.
Knowledge of principles regarding monitoring, drift detection, retraining, and performance tracking.
Knowledge of AI governance, explainability, traceability, security, and compliance requirements.
Ability to document work performed and explain results clearly to business stakeholders.
Ability to work within a Data Science team and leverage best practices.
