We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible and caring individuals to join our After-School Care team as:
Teaching Assistant – After School Care Supervisor
Permanent role – Starting 1 September 2026
Available Monday to Friday 3pm to 5.30pm
Job purpose
This role is ideal for applicants who enjoy working with children, can engage positively in play and learning activities, and want to contribute to a supportive school environment.
After-School Care (ASC) Supervisors play a key part in ensuring that students are safe, engaged and supported at the end of the school day. The role involves a wide range of tasks and responsibilities may evolve based on the needs of the school.
Your tasks
- Helping implement school policies and procedures
- Supervising students in playgrounds, school grounds and transitions between buildings
- Ensuring student safety and wellbeing in line with school safeguarding policies
- Attending to personal care needs when required (e.g. escorting to the toilet)
- Helping students use equipment and access activities
- Building positive, supportive relationships
- Responding to student needs while encouraging independence
- Promoting self-esteem, inclusion and positive social interaction
- Supporting individuals or groups to engage with learning tasks and personal targets
- Actively participating in play and educational activities throughout ASC sessions
Your profile
- Punctual
- Experience from working with children
- Proficient in English. Any other language will be an asset
- An internationally minded outlook
- Flexible and empathic
