Job mission Department description The Finance department ensures the financial integrity, budget planning and internal controls of Luxinnovation's operations, including the management of national and European funding conventions. It serves as a strategic partner to both Business and Corporate teams, enabling rigorous execution and compliance with financial and legal requirements.

Job description
As a Financial Controller – EU Grants & Public Funding, you will contribute to financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting and internal control of national and European funding conventions managed by Luxinnovation. Main tasks and responsibilities Your responsibilities are structured around Luxinnovation's four core pillars of activity: **Inspire :*

- Prepare management dashboards, financial KPIs and performance indicators for the organisation's leadership
- Explain financial challenges, needs and tools clearly to colleagues, including non-financial stakeholders, to facilitate understanding and ownership of financial information
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly documents for the Board of Management **Assess & Accelerate :*

- Monitor in-year budgets and year-end forecasts to proactively identify over
- or under-consumption on which Business teams can act
- Perform financial analyses and simulations as needed (e.g. prior to the signature of a new convention)
- Analyse and structure indirect cost items to inform overhead mechanisms and ensure coherence with relevant funding schemes
- Contribute to process harmonisation for convention management in collaboration with the Operational Excellence team **Connect :*

- Coordinate budget preparation for year N+1 within agreed timelines
- Coordinate budget allocation and consumption across cross-functional projects
- Coordinate periodic reporting and liaise with internal and external audit teams
- Ensure Finance team access to European platforms and maintain signed contract archives with the Risk & Compliance team
- Contribute to the drafting of contract amendments **Fund :*

- Ensure comprehensive understanding of different national and European funding conventions and their specificities
- Contribute to the financial monitoring of funding schemes and conventions, coordinating budget aspects, financial justifications and key attention points
- Support the accounting and financial management team during periodic closings and related activities
- Proactively identify improvement and optimisation opportunities to streamline convention management within Luxinnovation This list is not exhaustive. * Required competencies Education level and professional experience required:
- Master's degree in finance, audit or accounting
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or in audit Specific competencies:
- Strong knowledge of national and European funding conventions (State aid, EU grants)
- Expertise in internal control frameworks and audit coordination
- Advanced financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills, including forecasting and budget management
- Good knowledge of financial reporting standards; knowledge of LuxGAAP is an asset
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and synthesis capabilities
- Autonomy, energy, proactivity, rigour and perseverance
- Team spirit, flexibility and interpersonal skills Languages:
- Fluent English and French are mandatory IT

Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of PowerBI for financial reporting is a strong asset
