€16.02 gross per hour (in accordance with the current Luxembourg statutory minimum wage for unqualified employees) About Mangi Mangi is a Luxembourg-based office lunch delivery company preparing and delivering fresh meals to companies throughout Luxembourg. We are looking for a reliable, energetic and versatile team member to join our morning production team. This is a practical, fast-paced position combining kitchen production and daily meal deliveries. Every morning is deadline-driven, and teamwork, speed and attention to detail are essential. Your role Your working day is divided into two main responsibilities. 1. Kitchen Production You will support our kitchen team with daily food production and general kitchen operations, including:
- Assisting with mise en place
- Preparing salads, sandwiches, poke bowls and other simple food items
- Packaging and labelling meals
- Organising completed orders
- Receiving deliveries
- Checking products and stock
- Assisting with inventory organisation
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning workstations and maintaining kitchen hygiene
- Supporting the team in completing all morning production before the daily deadline Morning production is normally completed between 10:50 and 11:00 a.m., so the ability to work efficiently under time pressure is essential. 2. Office Meal Deliveries Every day you will complete one delivery route lasting approximately 60–75 minutes. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing insulated delivery boxes according to a predefined route
- Checking that orders are complete before departure
- Delivering meals accurately and punctually to offices
- Following delivery instructions
- Communicating immediately if any issue occurs
- Returning delivery equipment after completing the route Typical delivery routes cover approximately 10–25 km per day within Luxembourg City and the surrounding area. Who we are looking for This position is ideal for somebody who enjoys staying active throughout the morning. We are not looking for a professional chef. We are looking for somebody who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Fast and well organised
- Comfortable working under time pressure
- Calm and focused during busy periods
- Able to switch efficiently between kitchen work and deliveries
- Careful and attentive to detail
- Happy to perform practical tasks, including cleaning and dishwashing
- A positive team player
- Motivated to learn and improve A minimum of two years' experience working in a commercial kitchen is required. Driving A valid driving licence is required. Using your own vehicle for deliveries is preferred but not mandatory, as a company vehicle is available when needed. Business kilometres driven using your own vehicle will be reimbursed at €0.30 per kilometre. Parking required for deliveries will be covered by the company. Languages You must be able to communicate in at least one of the following languages:
- English
- French
- German Knowledge of Bulgarian, Polish, Ukrainian or Russian is an advantage for communication within our international team but is not required.
