Job Description
The IT, Platform, Virtualization & Servers division of Client Luxembourg’s PRI (IT Production) department is seeking an external system engineer with the following profile. As part of the reinforcement of the team responsible for coordinating technical projects within a Luxembourg banking institution, we are looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer. The consultant will work on critical, highly available Windows Server infrastructures subject to strict requirements regarding security, performance, compliance, and SLA adherence. The assignment takes place in a sensitive production environment requiring rigor, autonomy, and the ability to operate in complex environments. If the candidate is selected, the company undertakes to ensure that the candidate is present on the mission start date. General

- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in an IT environment
- Ability to integrate easily and willingness to work as part of a team are essential
- Ability to work independently
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Versatility and a rigorous approach to work
- Good organizational skills and excellent communication abilities
- Analytical mindset for problem-solving
- Experience in a critical environment, such as the financial sector, with high SLAs and stringent service quality requirements
- Compliance with existing administrative procedures and organizational processes
- Ability to write documentation and transfer knowledge
- Fluency in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an advantage. Required Technical

Proven expertise in Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025) Advanced proficiency in PowerShell development and automation Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including:
- Windows Failover Clustering
- Active Directory
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) Strong command of security and cybersecurity practices for Microsoft environments Technical project management and coordination experience Additional Technical Skills (An Asset)
- VMware and Omnissa Horizon
- Networking technologies (DNS, web proxies, firewalls, load balancing, etc.)
- Banking applications
- Microsoft Project. Profile & Organization:
- Advanced technical profile
- Ability to plan and manage work independently
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams
- On-site presence of up to five days per week
- Remote work is possible but limited
- Flexible
working hours
between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with core hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mission: The system engineer’s responsibilities include:
- Participating in projects and managing small-scale projects
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team with broad expertise, including Windows, VMware, application tiers, security, and advanced troubleshooting
- Improving, stabilizing, and automating systems
- Contributing to the handling of Level 3 support tickets
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation. Transferring knowledge to Level 2 support teams.
