Palana is a regulatory and compliance consulting firm based in Luxembourg, specialising in the investment fund industry and broader financial services sector. We advise leading asset managers, fund administrators and financial institutions on AML/CTF, regulatory compliance and related matters. As a Senior Associate within our RC Services team, you will support investment fund managers in meeting their AML/CTF and regulatory compliance obligations. Working closely with Responsible Conducting Officers and senior stakeholders, you will contribute to the oversight of delegated activities, compliance monitoring and day-to-day governance matters. This role offers direct client exposure, hands-on involvement in regulatory deliverables and the opportunity to develop expertise across AML/CTF, compliance and governance frameworks within Luxembourg-regulated entities. Your responsibilities
- Support Responsible Conducting Officers in the oversight of AML/CTF, compliance and governance activities for regulated entities.
- Perform AML/CTF due diligence and oversight activities on investors, delegates and service providers, applying CSSF Circulars and AED guidance.
- Conduct screening, adverse media reviews and KYA activities to support ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Contribute to the review of AML/CTF policies, procedures, risk assessments and monitoring programmes.
- Act as a point of contact for clients on day-to-day activities and regulatory deliverables, communicating findings and recommendations clearly to RCs and internal stakeholders. What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Law or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in AML/CTF, Compliance or Regulatory Compliance within financial services.
- Good knowledge of the Luxembourg AML/CTF and regulatory framework including AML Law, CSSF Circulars, AED guidance and FATF recommendations.
- House of Training RC Capacity certificate held or in progress; ACOI, ICA or ACAMS in progress or recently obtained.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
