A. manages a global portfolio of private equity fund-of-funds for institutional and professional investors. As a leading private equity fund-of-funds manager with a truly global perspective, we provide the platform to advance your career to the next level. Primary responsibilities
- Performing accounting closes and NAV calculations for regulated and unregulated structures with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines
- Taking a leading role in preparation of annual accounts and liaising with external auditors and addressing audit queries
- Issuing capital calls and distributions to investors
- Preparing high-quality management reports, capital account statements, investor reports and various other reporting for limited partners and internal stakeholders
- Close collaboration with and direct reporting to the Head of Finance
- Responding to ad hoc requests from other departments as well as management
- Proactively contributing to process improvements and developing new systems
- Supporting external tax consultants in connection with U.
S., German, Luxembourg and other tax filings
- Various other fund administration duties as required Candidate profile
- Commercially minded, with the ability to look beyond the accounting entries and understand the underlying investment structures, transactions and economics
- Self-reliant and able to deliver work in an “In-housed” accounting team that does not rely on service providers
- Proactive team player able to work independently in a cross-functional team and engage directly with investors
- Interest in working across multiple departments and learning new functions (investment controlling, RTA, risk management, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and motivation to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality reviews of other’s work while also performing in a preparer role
- Advanced knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English skills required (written and verbal), German is a plus
