IT Administrator & ICT Outsourcing Officer – 75–80% Luxembourg My client is a leading global FinTech business with operations across Europe, Asia and the US. They are a regulated financial institution based in Luxembourg, operating within a highly innovative and fast-moving area of financial services. They are looking for an experienced IT Administrator & ICT Outsourcing Officer to support their Luxembourg business on a 75–80% contract . This is an unusual opportunity for someone who wants to remain in a varied and responsible IT role while achieving genuine work/life balance. It would be perfect for an experienced IT professional who no longer wants or needs a traditional full-time position but still wants interesting work, autonomy and exposure to an international regulated business. The Role Reporting directly to an Authorised Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day IT support and administration of the Luxembourg office. The role will also support the company’s ICT outsourcing, third-party risk and DORA requirements, working closely with Group IT in Japan, external IT providers and the internal Risk and Information Security functions. This is a hands-on position requiring someone who is comfortable managing everyday IT requirements while also maintaining the processes, documentation and controls expected within a regulated financial-services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees across hardware, software, networks, system access and endpoint issues.
- Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, access rights, equipment preparation and IT asset management.
- Support the administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows, VPN, VDI and other internal systems.
- Monitor local IT infrastructure, backups, network services and operational reliability.
- Act as the main local point of contact for Group IT, internal control functions and external IT providers.
- Support ICT outsourcing and third-party governance, including vendor due diligence, criticality assessments and ICT third-party risk assessments.
- Maintain the operational data required for the DORA Register of Information and support periodic reporting.
- Assist with ICT exit plans, business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
- Support penetration testing, remediation tracking and follow-up with external providers.
- Take ownership of assigned remediation actions and ensure they are completed within the required deadlines.
- Maintain IT and ICT policies, procedures and operational documentation.
- Prepare and maintain supporting evidence for audits and regulatory reviews. Your Background
- Strong experience in IT support, systems administration or a similar hands-on IT role.
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows systems and endpoint administration.
- Previous experience working within a regulated financial-services, FinTech or similarly controlled environment.
- An understanding of DORA and ICT governance requirements.
- Experience with ICT outsourcing, third-party risk, business continuity, disaster recovery or regulatory audits would be highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently, take ownership and coordinate effectively with international teams and external providers.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Another European language or Japanese would be advantageous.
