Reporting to a senior solution architect, you will act as a functional expert for the Production Planning (PP) module, specifically during the realization (currently underway) and deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior SAP PP Consultant will be primarily responsible for: – Configuring and customizing business processes in accordance with the client-approved Business Blueprint Document (BBP); – Drafting detailed functional specifications for custom developments (WRICEF); – Conducting and documenting unit tests (UT) and integration test scenarios (SIT); – Documenting system configuration in a comprehensive and structured manner; – Leading demonstration sessions (sprint reviews) for Process Leads and Key Users (KU) to validate the implemented processes; – Actively contributing to the data migration process: data mapping, preparation, and execution of loading steps; – Training Process Leads and Key Users on the implemented processes and ensuring knowledge transfer. experience:
– Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation (at least one Greenfield or Brownfield project as an SAP PP functional consultant); – Minimum of 8 years of experience with the SAP PP module, covering MRP, production order management, capacity planning, and master data management (material masters, bills of materials, routings, quota arrangements, production versions, work centers, etc.); – Solid experience in drafting detailed functional specifications for WRICEFs (numerous interfaces are planned); – Integration with Planning (IBP), Purchasing (subcontracting, etc.), Logistics (EWM), Controlling (standard cost and actual cost calculation), and Quality modules; – Integration with external systems: MES (Manufacturing Execution System), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), QMS (Quality Management System), and B2B (Business-to-Business); – Good knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to the PP module and proficiency in defining Fiori Spaces & Pages; – Fluency in French is mandatory—the project is conducted primarily in French (the working language with the client); – Excellent teamwork skills, with a strong collaborative mindset and ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders; – Availability to work on-site at the client’s location in southern Belgium 75% of the time. qualifications:
– Experience with SAP Enable Now for creating training content and user documentation; – Experience with JIRA for executing and tracking the status of implementation tasks; – Experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector. Soft skills – Autonomy and rigor in managing deliverables; – Strong sense of responsibility and adherence to methodology and working standards; – Ability to explain complex technical concepts to a business audience; – Proactivity in identifying and escalating project risks; – Adaptability within a demanding and regulated industrial environment.
