à r.l. ### Job offer : We are looking for the following position for the hotel: HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR (F/M/D) The Housekeeping Supervisor provides strategic and operational leadership of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and service throughout the property. As a member of the Supervisor team, the role is responsible for guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house storage rooms, the guest’s laundry room, and overall departmental performance. The Housekeeping Supervisor controls costs and monitors the external cleaning team. Moreover, guest satisfaction is monitored, as well as inventory management. The role works closely with all hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving operational and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities
, Operational Leadership

- Supervises all housekeeping operations, including guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house storages, the guest’s laundry room, and linen management.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and functionality across the property.
- Attendance of the daily morning meeting.
- Implement proactive inspection of all guest rooms that were cleaned.
- Plan resources effectively to support occupancy levels, events, VIP arrivals, and operational demands.
- Ensure that weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning tasks are completed successfully.
- Monitor productivity and cleaning performance to ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure that technical issues are escalated to maintenance technician on a timely manner.
- Ensure that missing items in rooms are reported immediately to the front desk team for follow up with guests.
- Management of lost and found items in close collaboration with the reception team. Financial Supervision
- Control monthly invoices from external cleaning company, departmental expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
- Control laundry delivery slips in accordance to what has been delivered. Report any discrepancies or defaults by email.
- Oversee inventory control and stock supervision and inform Operations Manager when new orders need to be placed.

- Lead and coach the external housekeeping team.
- Ensure completion and follow-up of all mandatory, operational, safety, and compliance training.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement. Guest Experience
- Ensure housekeeping operations consistently support outstanding guest satisfaction.
Supervises and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyse guest feedback, identify root causes of issues, and implement preventive action plans.
- Drive service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the department. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Build strong working relationships across all hotel departments and promote a "One Team" culture.
- Collaborate closely with the Front Office Team, Operations Manager and the Maintenance Team technician.
- Participate in operational and strategic meetings to ensure alignment of departmental and hotel objectives.
- Support hotel operations during special events, high-occupancy periods, and major projects. Quality, Compliance, and Safety
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and company standards.
- Maintain effective risk management, chemical safety, and audit compliance procedures.
