MTM Partners is an independent management consulting firm located in Luxembourg.
We are seeking an
experienced Finance Director
to join
a growing business at an important stage of its development, with the mandate to strengthen and further professionalise its Finance capabilities.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
Main Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Finance function, strengthening processes, controls, reporting and financial systems.
- Provide reliable financial insight to senior management and contribute to strategic business decisions.
- Prepare and present financial information to senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
- Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
- Contribute to financing and capital-related initiatives as the business continues to develop.
- Support corporate development activities, including financial analysis, due diligence and post-transaction integration where relevant.
- Oversee and coordinate external audit activities and ensure appropriate financial and control standards are maintained.
- Work effectively across a complex international stakeholder environment and ensure alignment between local Finance requirements and wider group expectations.
- Act as a hands-on Finance partner, taking direct ownership of key deliverables while developing the function and its processes. Profile
- Proven experience as a Finance Director, CFO, Head of Finance or equivalent senior Finance leadership position.
- Experience in a dynamic, growing or entrepreneurial business environment.
- Strong technical and commercial Finance capabilities, with a solid understanding of planning, reporting, controls and financial performance.
- Experience working with senior management and multiple stakeholders across an international organisation.
- Previous exposure to financing, investment or corporate development activities is advantageous.
- Experience with M&A, due diligence or transaction-related projects would be beneficial.
- Strong understanding of the Luxembourg financial, accounting and regulatory environment.
- Experience within a B2B, technology, services or recurring-revenue business would be advantageous.
- Strong systems and process orientation, with the ability to improve and professionalise Finance operations.
- Pragmatic, analytical and execution-focused approach, with a willingness to remain hands-on and get involved in the detail when required.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate with senior stakeholders.
- Available to start immediately.
