- Operations Analyst Your role:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of ECP's Wealth Management and Investment Management activities.
- Coordinating, overseeing and monitoring automated feeds from Depositary Banks into ECP's Portfolio Management System (“PMS”), ensuring the accurate processing of transactions and cash movements.
- Processing and encoding trades and cash movements in the PMS where automated feeds are not available or operational.
- Performing daily and periodic reconciliations between the PMS and Depositary Banks, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Feeding and maintaining the PMS with customer data, portfolio, transaction and other relevant data received from ECP’s clients, including investment funds and wealth management clients, and performing appropriate quality and consistency checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the data.
- Performing quality and consistency checks on client data, pricing, portfolio and transaction data within the PMS.
- Supporting Wealth Managers and clients with day-to-day operational requests and ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Supporting the Operations and Oversight teams in relation to fund accounting, Depositary Banks and other service providers for UCITS and AIFs.
- Assisting the Operations and Legal & Compliance teams with applicable regulatory requirements, internal procedures and control activities.
- Supporting internal and external audits and regulatory reviews relating to operational and wealth management activities.
- Supporting the preparation, review and submission of MiFID-related regulatory and operational reporting, ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of the required information.
- Contributing to the enhancement and automation of operational processes, controls, data quality and operational efficiency.
Your profile
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Asset Management or a related field .
- Previous experience in operations, asset management, wealth management, fund administration, custody or a related financial services environment .
- Sound understanding of investment products, portfolio operations, transaction processing, reconciliations and the roles of the different actors in the investment value chain.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
- Relevant professional certifications , such as CFA, CAIA, CISI, IIA, CAMS/AML or equivalent , will be considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg and/or European regulatory requirements applicable to investment management and fund operations will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French, German, Dutch and Luxembourgish would be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively with different internal teams, clients and external service providers.
- Demonstrate a proactive and “can-do” attitude , with the ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
